record sales performanceToday Pancosma is represented globally in most major feed producing countries. Further expansion is envisaged particularly in countries with large poultry industries where there is a growing demand for Pancosma products.At a recent Pancosma Group meeting Daniel Kofel was keen to emphasise that the expansion in sales came from all regions and all three product divisions; palatants, minerals and bioactives. “Whilst the removal of antibiotic growth promoters (AGPs) has stimulated the sales of XTRACT especially in the poultry sector, it is encouraging”, Daniel Kofel goes on to say “that leading brands of palatants such as SUCRAM and TEK flavours continue to expand both in terms of turnover and market share”. The establishment of the organic mineral manufacturing facility in Canada has enabled Pancosma to offer an expanded range of B-TRAXIM products. Much of the success of B-TRAXIM is associated with the positive response of the feed industry to transparent, clear and useful product information and to the quality standards which have been achieved. For the future Pancosma predicts further strong demand for its products. However the company emphasises the challenge ahead in managing new feed ingredient legislation and allocating the requisite financial and human resources.
