Certain ingredients, such as phytochemicals, cannot be always used successfully
in animal feed products because of damage during the feed production process due
to pressure and temperature. To overcome this problem Pancosma developed a new
ISO-FUSION Technology micro-encapsulated technique. Phytomolecules are encapsulated
as micro-sized spherical particles with an intimate combination of defined substances
protected in a digestible matrix, which guarantees a controlled release in the
digestive tract. Pancosma continues to research new methods of micro-encapsulation.
ISO-FUSION Technology (IFT)
The homogeneity of a feed additive is essential to achieving optimum efficacy
in terms of mixing in the feed and animal performance.
To ensure the homogeneity of its products Pancosma developed the ISO-FUSION Technology
manufacturing process. The result is a product, which is “an intimate combination
of all the active ingredients in a micro-particle in which the proportions are
equal and constant from one particle to another”.

SPRAY-PAN System
The application of liquid palatants offers several advantages, especially in
bringing to the feed a strong and instant aromatic profile. To assist the feed
manufacture in utilising liquids Pancosma developed the SPRAY-PAN System.
The advantages of the SPRAY-PAN System are that it is fully automatic and can
be integrated into the feed mill’s process control system and offers the flexibility
of varying application rates depending upon the feed formulation.
